The Mauritius Government Scholarship 2026 offers an excellent fully funded opportunity for talented students from African Union member states to pursue higher education in Mauritius. This prestigious scholarship covers tuition fees, living expenses, and round-trip airfare, making it one of the most accessible and comprehensive study awards available to African students.

Unlike many international scholarship programs, applicants do not apply directly to Mauritius. Instead, they must submit their documents through the Nominating Agency of their home country, usually the Ministry of Education or Higher Education. Each Nominating Agency may nominate up to five candidates for undergraduate studies, with each nomination clearly indicating the chosen level of study. The nominated applications are then formally forwarded to the Mauritian authorities for final consideration.

The scholarship provides an excellent pathway for African students to pursue quality education in a vibrant, multicultural, and academically strong island nation.
