Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be citizens of one of the partner countries eligible under the program.
- Apply through the Sending Partner of their home country, typically a national ministry or scholarship authority.
- Meet the academic requirements of the selected program, such as:
- A high school certificate for Bachelor’s programs
- A Bachelor’s degree for Master’s programs
- Submit a complete application including:
- Academic transcripts
- Motivation letter
- Proof of language proficiency
- Medical certificate
- Not hold dual citizenship with Hungary.
- PhD applicants must additionally provide:
- A research proposal
- Recommendation letters
