The American University in Cairo (AUC) African Graduate Fellowship 2026 is a highly competitive, fully funded opportunity for non-Egyptian African students to pursue a master’s degree at AUC. The fellowship supports full-time study across all eligible AUC graduate programs and is awarded based on academic excellence.
The fellowship covers up to five semesters plus one summer, with the possibility of extension to seven semesters for the Counseling Psychology program, provided academic performance requirements are met.
Eligibility
- Open to African nationals who are not Egyptian
- Applicants with dual non-African nationalities are not eligible
- Must be admitted to an eligible AUC graduate program
- Must meet AUC’s English language requirements (IELTS or TOEFL iBT)
- Continuing fellows must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2
