The New Zealand Government Scholarships 2026–2027 offer a fully funded opportunity for international students from around 130 eligible countries to pursue undergraduate, master’s, or PhD studies at leading universities in New Zealand. The scholarship supports a wide range of disciplines, including science, engineering, medicine, law, social sciences, arts, technology, and environmental studies. There is no application fee.
Study Levels and Duration
- Bachelor’s: 3–4 years
- Master’s: 1–2 years
- PhD: Approximately 3.5 years
Eligibility
- Open to international students
- Strong academic background required
- Research experience required for Master’s and PhD applicants
- English language proficiency required
- No criminal record
