
Applications are now open for the COP31 Climate Change Media Partnership (CCMP) Reporting Fellowship 2026, a fully funded opportunity for journalists and content creators from low- and middle-income countries to attend and report on the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP31) in Antalya, Türkiye, from 9–20 November 2026.
The fellowship offers participants a unique chance to cover one of the world’s most important climate events, gaining direct access to climate negotiations, policy discussions, and global leaders working to address climate change. Since 2007, the CCMP Fellowship has supported more than 550 journalists worldwide, helping to strengthen climate reporting and raise public awareness of environmental issues.
Who Can Apply?
The fellowship is open to:
- Professional journalists and creator-journalists
- Nationals of low- and middle-income countries
- Applicants with experience in climate, environmental, or related reporting
- Freelance journalists with proof of publication commitment from a recognized media outlet
Applicants must also demonstrate strong English communication skills and submit a clear reporting plan for COP31 coverage.
