
Applications are now open for the Rhodes Global Scholarship 2027, one of the world’s most prestigious fully funded scholarship programs. The scholarship enables exceptional students from eligible countries to pursue a Master’s, MPhil, or PhD degree at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom.
Designed to support future leaders with outstanding academic achievements and a commitment to making a positive impact, the Rhodes Scholarship provides comprehensive financial support, allowing scholars to focus on their studies and leadership development.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Apply under the Global Scholarship category and not be eligible for an existing Rhodes Scholarship constituency.
- Be aged between 18 and 24 years on 1 October 2026 (with limited exceptions).
- Hold, or expect to complete, an undergraduate degree by July 2026 that meets Oxford University’s entry requirements.
- Demonstrate excellent academic performance, typically equivalent to a GPA of 3.70/4.0 or a First-Class Honours degree.
Students from countries not covered by existing Rhodes constituencies are encouraged to apply.
Scholarship Benefits
The Rhodes Global Scholarship covers:
- Full tuition fees at the University of Oxford
- An annual living stipend of £20,400 (approximately £1,700 per month)
- Oxford University application fees
- Student visa fees
- UK International Health Surcharge (IHS)
- Two economy-class flights to and from the UK
- Financial support for accommodation and living expenses
English Language Requirement
Eligible applicants may not be required to take the IELTS, depending on Oxford University’s admission requirements and individual circumstances.
